Apple Remote Session Terms and Conditions

By requesting and accepting this Apple Remote Session you confirm that you are 18 years or older and agree to bind yourself as an individual or an authorised representative of your company, to the following terms and conditions:

A MacHub technician will access your Apple Mac machine remotely in order to assist you with a technical related problem. As a result of such session, you will accept responsibility for any changes made to the machine or the system settings. The MacHub will not be responsible for any liability resulting from the operation of any MacHub software or the performance of your system.

It is the MacHub’s objective to assist you to successfully remedy the issue and restore your machine to full working order. However, we cannot guarantee that the Apple Remote Support session will resolve the problem fully, and in the process of trying to resolve your issue, will not create additional issues.

We advise that you back up your data regularly and the MacHub will not be held responsible for any loss of data as a result of the Apple Remote Support session. We would further request that you close any folders containing all personal or confidential information prior to any remote sessions being initiated. The MacHub’s liability shall be limited to the total value of the MacHub’s Apple Remote Support session.

Lastly, we would also advise you to be present during the session for security reasons and also, because problems can often be rectified quicker when the user is present.

How do we go about fixing your Mac?:

  • We will carry out a free phone assessment (up to 15mins)
  • We will diagnose the fault and give you a cost for resolving your problem
  • With over 35 years experience there are very few issues our Apple trained technicians can’t fix!

How long does it take?:

  • Most common faults take less than an hour, some less than 15 minutes
  • If we can’t get your Mac working remotely, we can organise a collection, drop off or meet
  • Hardware problem? No problem? With our offices in Bracknell and Basingstoke we cover Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire and can have you up and working again swiftly

How much does it cost?:

  • Minimum charge £30 for up to the first 30 minutes
  • Thereafter, we bill in 15 minute increments at £15 for 15 minutes
  • More complex fixes will be quoted individually
